Review: The Iron Crown

Another review? Two weeks in a row?! Believe me I'm as stunned as you are by this consistency. But there's a good reason I've reappeared from the bottom of my dragon hoard of books once again: I got to read The Iron Crown by L.L. MacRae. And I just had to tell someone all about it!

This was a tough review for me to write, because there is clearly a lot of imagination and a lot of passion that went into this novella. Unfortunately, the story just didn't hold my attention.

Review: Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff

Review: Red Sister by Mark Lawrence

I may have been introduced to Mark Lawrence in spectacular, brutal fashion with his Broken Empire trilogy, but Red Sister proves that the man can create truly compelling, emotionally gripping stories - and he doesn’t need shock value to keep his readers hooked.
