It was on the New York Times bestseller list when it was published in 2009 - and there was even a movie in 2016 (which just proves I'm not the only one slow to hop on the popular book train) - and has since been a mixed bag for zombie and Austen lovers alike. But was it worth the hype?
Hello everyone!!! Welcome to the October 2021 TBR Book Haul, the first of (what promises to be) many, many book hauls on this blog. Because I have a problem, and the ever-dwindling amount of shelf space in my house isn't going to stop me.
It's been a while since I was able to sit down and actually start reading again. And I guess Odyssey Books must have sensed the moment was right because they sent me this book at the perfect time.

Another review? Two weeks in a row?! Believe me I'm as stunned as you are by this consistency. But there's a good reason I've reappeared from the bottom of my dragon hoard of books once again: I got to read The Iron Crown by L.L. MacRae. And I just had to tell someone all about it!
