Another review? Two weeks in a row?! Believe me I'm as stunned as you are by this consistency. But there's a good reason I've reappeared from the bottom of my dragon hoard of books once again: I got to read The Iron Crown by L.L. MacRae. And I just had to tell someone all about it!
There's nothing worse than realizing I've been stuck in a big old reading slump, and it takes something really special to kick me back into gear. Enter, Shards of Earth by Adrian Tchaikovsky: the hero in my hour of literary need!

This was a tough review for me to write, because there is clearly a lot of imagination and a lot of passion that went into this novella. Unfortunately, the story just didn't hold my attention.
How is it that this series manages to improve by leaps and bounds with each new installment? However it's possible, I am here for it, and everyone needs to know about it!
There’s nothing quite like a series that just grabs hold of you and pulls you into adventure with every turn of the page.
