Fire Wave is clearly filled with heart and passion, but unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired in it's execution.

With a fun and likeable trio of main characters, A Sea of Pearls & Leaves is a sweet and enchanting fairy-tale retelling that was a joy to read, even if it wasn't entirely what I expected

Murderbot manages to not only steal the show in this smart and hilarious novella, but my heart as well.
Everyone was talking about this book back in the day. It was on the New York Times bestseller list when it was published in 2009 - and there was even a movie in 2016 (which just proves I'm not the only one slow to hop on the popular book train) - and has since been a mixed bag for zombie and Austen lovers alike. But was it worth the hype?
